  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • Beanpicker Student Yearbook

    For the PBHS community, which needs representation and memories of the 2022-2023 school year, The Beanpicker is a yearbook that will entertain, provide a historical record and promote an image of the school and its students. Unlike other student organizations, our product acts as a time capsule of the school year. By showing the lighter, humorous side of the students and school life and producing a future historical document, we will promote professionalism, commitment, understanding and creativity.

    The SeaPerch club of Pompano Beach High School strives to teach students STEM principles and get them interested in engineering by building an underwater ROV. SeaPerch is an engaging underwater robotics program that exposes students to common engineering concepts, and through experience introduces them to problem solving and teamwork.

    For the students and teachers of PBHS, who need reliable information, relief from the stresses of school and a sense of unity and inclusion, Tornado Times is a biweekly one-to-four-page PDF newsletter and website connected to social media that will report the news and entertain. Unlike posters and media from other student organizations, our product offers more students a voice and provides reliable, thorough information. By emphasizing coverage of what is happening in the school, considering our duty to readers’ right to know and providing readers what they seem to want, we will promote creativity, respect and trust.
