Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida January 25th-29th!
DBES and the BCPS Literacy Department invite all staff and students to Celebrate Literacy by participating in these fun daily activities!

New Attendance Policy 5.5
On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, the School Board of Broward County unaminously amended SBBC Policy 5.5, student attendance. Please be aware of the following change: If students are learning remotely, they must have their cameras on during daily attendance and during direct instruction times. If students do not turn their cameras on, they will be marked either absent or tardy.

Since we are not able to visit the school at this time, we would like to share this virtual presentation created for 5th-grade students and parents. It provides general information regarding middle schools, as well as magnet eligibility, application procedures, transportation, and open houses.
