      • The CSHS Speech and Debate Team is a competitive academic club for anybody with a passion for performance. We compete at tournaments across Broward and the state of Florida throughout the school year, and even into the summer.

      • 4 year club membership entitles you to a free speech and debate cord to be worn at graduation
      • ALL are welcome - no matter your age, experience, skill level, etc.
      • Club Requirements/ Membership Criteria
      • All members are expected to compete on a monthly/quarterly basis at local and regional speech and debate tournaments.

      • Joining speech and debate is correlated with higher grades, better college acceptance rates, and improved critical thinking skills.
      • Competing at speech and debate tournaments makes you eligible for admission into the national speech and debate association, an exclusive honors society just for speakers and debaters.
