Mr. Ronald Adam, AP 11th Grade
I am the 11th-grade administrator at Coral Springs High School, and I am truly cognizant of the trust you place in me to treat your child as fairly as possible. Throughout my over thirty-year career as an educator, I have always endeavored to stop and reflect during conspicuous circumstances on how I would react if “your child” were my own. This is the mantra that I have maintained in an effort to deliver the most equitable treatment of all “our children”. With that in mind, I also ask for your assistance, along with your child’s assistance, in developing a true belief in their abilities to succeed. They must understand that the key to their success in life…is their self. They must have the drive to strive, without fear of failing forward. They may not experience the instant gratification of accomplishment at first blush. They must realize that it does NOT mean that they cannot do it…it merely means that they cannot do it…yet. Perseverance, discipline and hard work must become habit…because you and I both want “our” child to succeed.
I have Bachelor’s Degree in History from UWF and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from FAU. My career in education began in Broward County Public Schools over thirty years ago serving as a history teacher, football coach, wrestling coach, track and field coach, behavior specialist and assistant principal. I have served the Coral Springs High School Community for the last several years as an Assistant Principal. My prior schools were Miramar High, Stoneman Douglas High and Flanagan High. I served as Assistant Principal at Stoneman Douglas and Flanagan.
