Family Counseling

Family Counseling
  • The Family Counseling Program The Family Counseling Program (FCP) functions under the belief that a mentally healthy student learns better. Research has found that when someone experiences emotional difficulty they may suffer repercussions that lead to problems in their general daily functioning. For students, this is often evident in the academic arena, whether academically, behaviorally, or in terms of poor attendance.

Frequently, school-related problems may be symptomatic of those troubles.

  • The Family Counseling Program is committed to the goal of helping students reach their maximum potential in the classroom while promoting optimal mental health and family functioning.

Cooper City High School is accepting students and families every school year. The Center is open from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with one counselor available to serve the needs of students and their families.
