Records Retention Header
  • The Records Retention Office assists students who need to obtain their school transcripts. School transcripts are legal documents accepted as proof of graduation or attendance.  All educational records are protected under FERPA thus do not fall under the Public Records Law.

Please note:  Due to the implementation of the mandatory 2020 Summer 4-Day Work Week, all schools and administrative offices are closed each Friday during the summer beginning the week of June 8, 2020 through August 7, 2020.

    Online Transcript Request

(Please read the instructions popup page completely) Online Requests are NOT currently compatible with iPhones. Please use a desktop or Android.

We are accepting K-12 requests for all years. If you are a minor, your parent/guardian must sign the request and upload their photo ID.

Records Retention is currently working remotely and with limited access due to the impact imposed by COVID-19. This restriction may cause a slight delay in the *turnaround time since requests are processed in the order they are received.

Any questions regarding transcripts, request, turnaround time, etc. please send an email to records.retention@browardschools.com

Effective March 16, 2020, Records Retention has suspended all requests in person and/or pickups. All transcript requests must be made through this online request portal.

PROCESSING TIME FOR ONLINE REQUEST  (*see the message above)

We accept transcript requests for Sheridan, McFatter, and Atlantic from the school year 2004 and priorAfter 2004 please make the request directly to the technical college.
