    On Saturday, November 6, 2021, more than 300 individuals joined Broward County School Board members and Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Vickie L. Cartwright for Ed Talk 2021/22. Attendees included parents, students, business leaders, elected officials, community members and District staff. The event took place online via Microsoft Teams and included sessions on:

    • Mental Health Resources for Students and Staff
    • Academic Assistance for Students
    • Safety and Security Update

Student Volunteer Hours

  • Students attending Ed Talk will receive three (3) service-learning hours by completing and submitting the post-event survey. The link to the post-event survey will be emailed to all registrants.  After submitting the completed survey, the signed Student Volunteer Form will be emailed.  

    NOTE: Please ensure the email address you provide on the survey is correct.
