Welcome to the Compensation Department website. We are responsible for designing and administering pay programs that assists Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) in attracting, retaining and motivating staff to achieve the District's strategic goals. The Comprensation Team provides support for developing policies that govern employee pay, creating and maintaining salary structures, maintaining an up-to-date directory of jobs descriptions, and ensuring that Broward School's pay practices are compliant with state and federal statutes.

Teachers & School-Based Administrators - Performance Pay Salary Schedules
Broward County Public Schools introduced two new salary schedules for teachers and administrators beginning July 1, 2014.
Eligible teachers and school-based administrators may voluntarily "opt in" to ACCESS & ACCEL each year.
2018 - 2019 Election Window Dates
May 1, 2018 through May 31, 2018
Please note that voluntary elections submitted through May 31, 2018, take effect on July 1, 2018, with the start of the 2018 - 2019 school year.
