Summer Feeding Program Free Meals for All Children
Broward County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services (BCPSFNS) now offers FREE Grab-and-Go meals for all children 18 years and younger at all Elementary, Middle, and High schools!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced it would extend the summer meals flexibility waiver, which allows BCPSFNS to provide lunch at no cost to all children through December 31, 2020.
Meals bundles will be served on
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS FROM 11 AM TO 1 PM AND 3 PM TO 5 PM.
Children or their parents will be able to pick up multiple meals at a time by walking or driving to the car or bus loop. Parents must have identification for their child to pick up meals if the child is not present. The recommended forms of identification include student ID, report card, or birth certificate. Identification must be presented at each meal service. Adults are welcome to purchase meals for $1.80 per breakfast, and $2.75 per lunch. Assistance Completing the Online Application for Free and Reduced-price Meals
Broward County Public Schools, Food and Nutrition Services Department, will provide assistance to parents in completing the online application for free and reduced price meals. If you would like assistance in applying for meal benefits for your child, help will be available on various days at various schools.
