Position Goals
Responsible for managing staff and technology resources and performing work across multiple areas of an Information Technology Platform / Infrastructure, including but not limited to analysis, development, and administration of IT Systems Software, Hardware, Databases, Data and Voice Networks, Data processing Operations, IT Infrastructure, IT Security, End-User Technology and Software Support. Position Goals
To conduct various types of forensic investigations, by being an incident first responder with specialized skills to find hidden evidence and to seek out elusive threats.

Responsibilities
- Detect compromised systems, and identify how and when a breach occurred, understand what attack, and successfully contain and remediate incidents.
- Conduct forensic investigations, both internally and externally; collect, preserve, and analyze data and digital evidence.
- Perform forensic examinations and preserve analyzed data obtained from examining electronic devices, including laptop, desktop computers, servers, mobile devices.
- Identify cybercriminals through open-source research and analyze technologies used by them.

Position Goals

Position Goals
To establish, promote and maintain safe conditions for all students and employees by recommending and establishing measures to reduce or eliminate employee and student accidents, fire incidents and hazards in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements for fire prevention. Additionally, to administer and enforce provisions of the Florida Building Code and the Florida Fire Prevention Code required for plan review processing, permitting, supervision and inspection of all District building and maintenance projects and to effectively carry out the duties associated with the Chief Fire Official designation.

- Conduct oneself in a professional manner benefitting students in accordance with the highest traditions of public education and in support of the District’s Mission Statement.

- Ensure that all School District facilities, either owned or leased, receive an Annual Comprehensive Facilities Inspection (ACFI) by June 30th each year to detect existing or potential fire, accident and or health hazards. - Coordinate plan review relative to adherence to the fire code.
- Supervise Plans Examiner/Inspectors (Fire) who review, plan, and conduct field inspections to ensure the work quality and level of productivity are appropriate.
- Develop and performs tests and evaluations of fire prevention plans in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Formulate and recommends general fire prevention policies and measures to be followed by students and employees.
- Consult with all departments and programs on the design and use of equipment, fire prevention, and on safety programs.
- Conduct studies and analyses of accidents and health hazards for the purpose of eliminating these conditions.
- Work with other District staff as appropriate to investigate all fire incidents, accident claims, accidental injuries and/or health hazards involving students, employees and/or equipment to determine cause.
- Ensure the safety of Broward County School District students and employees by developing, recommending, and implementing general safety policies and measures to be followed by students and employees.
- Ensure completion of the computerized annual inspection report to comply with annual code changes. Reviews all alternate materials and methods for equivalent use in educational facilities.
- Render interpretation and intent of fire codes, rules, and statutes applicable to existing District educational facilities.
- Respond and coordinates District activities during fire emergencies in cooperation with other District staff, as appropriate, and responding to Broward County Fire Departments.
- Maintain a report of the incident and severity rate for fire related accidents and hazards by preparing and disseminating a monthly, quarterly, and annual report.
- Ensure the investigation of all fire incidents, accident claims, accidental injuries and/or fire hazards involving students, employees and/or equipment to determine the cause.
- Participate in the preparation of materials and evidence for school district use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
- Serve as the District’s liaison with municipalities, county departments, and other entities in order to facilitate fire safety plan development, response effort coordination, and mutual aid agreements, as applicable.

Position Goals
The Cyber Threat Defender will be a critical contributor to the District's security team. This position will be responsible for providing targeted threat information and analysis and will be actively involved in incident response and threat hunting activities. In addition, the position will include marketing security awareness information to District users and stakeholders.

- Conduct research, collect & analyze data and evaluate threat intelligence, as well as, identify patterns and trends by developing appropriate strategies for hunting, tracking, analyzing and avoiding threats.

- Investigate security incidents and conduct data analysis based on findings.
- Write and present routine reports regarding findings.
- Advise team on responsible sharing of reporting information to law enforcement, school administration, and district leadership based on individual incident situations.
- Run scenario-based tabletop cyber threat emulation exercises to provide context and realism for dealing with incidents.
- Document the results of the scenario, identify flaws or gaps in the organization's response and make needed adjustments.
- Develop ongoing security awareness training, newsletters, alerts, managed phishing campaigns, and other marketing actions to strengthen the workforce security posture.
- Advise on updates needed within Information Security Guidelines, Procedures, Policies, and Practices in order to keep current with latest trends in security and threat intelligence.

Qualifications and Experiences
- An earned bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information security, or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years, within the last ten (10) years of experience in the field related to the title of the position. OR An earned associate degree with an undergraduate Cybersecurity certificate from accredited institution or two or more active industry certificates in the following: Certified Enterprise Defender, Certified Incident Handler, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Certified Forensic Analyst, Network Forensic Analyst, Continuous Monitoring Certification, Security Essentials, and Defending Advanced Threats, or CompTIA Security+ ǀ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) or valid certifications that are recognized industry wide and are up to date.

Responsibilities
- Supervise staff as assigned in the performance of job duties.
- Apply appropriate nursing theory as the basis for decision-making in the school setting:
a. Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory by sharing information with peers, students, family, staff, other professionals and the community to promote health and wellness.
b. Demonstrate application of nursing theory through use of the most recent techniques and information, which govern actions.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive school/health program following the guidelines of the Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Board of Nursing and School Board Policies.
a. Consult with school administration to establish, review, and revise procedures for a comprehensive school health program which is in compliance with federal, state and local statutes and regulations.
b. Assist in training, supervising, and evaluating paraprofessionals. Determine extent of orientation, t and type of supervision needed to comply with the Nurse Practice Act, and other legal considerations.
c. Assume responsibility for in-service programs for school personnel regarding health-related issues.
d. Establish process to identify students at-risk for physical and psychosocial problems.
e. Communicate student health needs to other school personnel.
f. Establish follow up mechanism for referral of identified students.
g. Complete written reports to provide continuity and accountability of the program.
- Develop individualized health plans for students using nursing process.
a. Collect information about the health and developmental status of the student in a systematic and continuous manner, including health and social histories; screening results; physical assessment; emotional status; performance level and health goals.
b. Collect data from student, family, school, personnel and health care professionals.
c. Use data collected about the health and educational status of the student to determine a nursing diagnosis.

i. Collaborate and serve as a team member with other professionals in developing and implementing Individual Education Plan (IEP’s) for ESE students and 504 plans for eligible students.
j. Monitor immunizations and core state health requirements.
k. Assess student response to nursing actions in order to revise the database, nursing diagnoses, and nursing care plan, and to determine progress made toward goal achievement.
l. Document diagnoses, plans, interventions, and results on the student health record.
- Collaborate with other professionals in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and other school health activities.
a. Participate as a team member.
b. Act as advocate for the student and family when appropriate.
c. Include the student in team conference whenever possible and appropriate.
d. Identify health-related needs and objectives for inclusion in the individual education plan; assume responsibility for provision of health-related procedures and treatments.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- An earned associate's degree from an accredited institution in Nursing.
- A minimum of two (2) years clinical nursing experience in med-surg, pediatrics or a similar nursing specialty.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Florida State Board of Nursing. License must be in good standing.
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, updated according to the American Heart or American Red Cross Association Standards.
