Welcome to the Compensation Department website. We are responsible for designing and administering pay programs that assists Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) in attracting, retaining and motivating staff to achieve the District's strategic goals. The Compensation Team provides support for developing policies that govern employee pay, creating and maintaining salary structures, maintaining an up-to-date directory of jobs descriptions, and ensuring that Broward School's pay practices are compliant with state and federal statutes.

Teachers & School-Based Administrators - Performance Pay Salary Schedules
Beginning July 1, 2014, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) implemented the Pay for Performance Compensation Plans (PFP), which provide eligible teachers and school-based administrators an opportunity to voluntarily "opt-in" to the ACCESS plan for teachers, and ACCEL plan for school-based administrators.
The election window for eligible teachers and school-based administrators to voluntarily "opt in" is available each year during the month of May.
Election Window Dates:
May 1st through May 31st of each school year
Voluntary elections submitted through May 31st of the current school year, will take effect on July 1st, with the start of the following school year.
