Marketing and Communications
The Marketing & Communications Department serves as the District liaison with the media and handles internal and external communications. From media relations, social media, the District's website and District community relations to annual District events, District branding and operating the District switchboard, the Marketing & Communications team continually looks for ways to inform and engage stakeholders.
Marketing & Communications Center ( MarComm)
The team makes every effort to provide accurate news and information, and to respond timely to media requests. For official comment and information on breaking news or District events, please contact the Office of Communications at 754-321-2300.
District Community Relations
The Community Relations team facilitates community involvement in District events and provides coordination and planning for participation in community events, including the annual Caliber Awards, Community Involvement Awards and Ed Talk.
The team also facilitates relationships between the community and District through:
- Volunteer Services
- The Superintendent's Screening Program
- Community projects with businesses, government and non-profit organizations
- Partnership programs that support the District's strategic goals
- The District’s community/employee recognition programs
