  • Secondary Language Arts is a division of the Department of Secondary Learning. This department serves to provide resources, professional learning, and support to all Broward County middle and high schools, as well as educational centers and K-8/6-12 schools. The goal of the Secondary Language Arts Department is to ensure that the Language Arts Florida Standards (LAFS) are taught with fidelity and that the reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language strands are interwoven throughout daily instruction.

  • Parent Toolkit

Parent Toolkit is a one-stop resource developed with parents in mind. It’s produced by NBC News Education Nation and supported by Pearson and includes information about almost every aspect of your child’s development, because they're all connected. Healthy, successful children can excel in many areas – in the classroom, on the court, and in their relationships with peers and adults. Our advice also covers important topics for navigating life after high school.

  • provide student tutorials through standards aligned videos with content based questions and reflective opportunities. This program provides review, remediation and enrichment processes.
