SEAS Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS)
-
The award-winning Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS) Program, developed in partnership with the School Board of Broward County, launched 32 years ago when the Center opened in 1991. Since then, it has served more than 4 million students with engaging arts experiences that are directly tied to the classroom curriculum. SEAS offers all students from Broward County Public Schools the opportunity to attend professional performances free of charge during the school day, engaging them in active learning through the arts. The largest program of its kind in the country, SEAS has been recognized as a national model. The Amaturo Theater is the home of our SEAS performances, as the theater is an outside resource classroom of the district.
