2025 Silver Knight Award Winners

26 graduating seniors from BCPS schools were honored at the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald’s annual Silver Knight Awards ceremony held May 14, 2025, at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.

Cooper City High School, Cypress Bay High School, and South Broward High School each had two student winners, while Fort Lauderdale High School was represented by one winner. Meet all seven winners and their schools below.

• Social Science: Lola McClure, Cooper City High School
• Mathematics: Krisztina Tolotti, Fort Lauderdale High School
• Journalism: Jonah Feldman, Cypress Bay High School
• General Scholarship: Jayla Clement, South Broward High School
• English & Literature: Victoria Valdivieso, Cypress Bay High School
• Digital and Interactive Media: Liam Gillet, Cooper City High School
• Business: Anthony Clase, South Broward High School
