Partner Recognition - Community Involvement Award
-
The Community Involvement Awards is Broward County Public Schools opportunity to recognize all the hardworking business/community partners, mentors, parents and volunteers, who donate thousands of hours and financial support to schools and students.
All schools & District departments may nominate their outstanding candidates. Business/community partners may also self-nominate in order to better describe the full scope and variety of their multiple school and district partnerships.
For the Partner of the Year awards, a selection committee is established that consists of members of the Partners In Education Board of Directors, District staff and representatives of winning partnerships from the prior year. A set of criteria is established and each application is judged on the criteria and not in relation to each other. Criteria include: level of commitment; demonstrated support for school improvement and student achievement; and effective use of resources that provide meaningful program activities.
