Congratulations to the 2017 Community Involvement Awards Winners!

The Broward County Public Schools Community Involvement Awards (CIA) were held on Friday, February 17 at Bailey Hall located at Broward College A. Hugh Adams Central Campus. The CIA was attended by more than 800 individuals who gathered to honor the District’s outstanding family engagement initiatives, mentors, volunteers, and business and community partners.
This year’s event, emceed by Local 10 Weekend News Anchor, Carlos Suarez, featured student performances from Coral Glades High School, Monarch High School, New River Middle School, and South Broward High School. Additionally, the J.P. Taravella High School Pro-Start program provided an enjoyable breakfast.
