Secondary Science Overview

-
Advances in science are transforming the world around us. The Secondary Science Department is committed to making science practices come alive for our large and diverse student population. It is important for students to understand that science is involved in everything we do.
Through laboratory and technological experiences students are engaged in understanding the nature of scientific phenomena and how it correlates to the world around us. Middle school curriculum introduces earth, life, and physical sciences and making real-world connections through scientific inquiry. High school students are extending their learning in science through deepening conceptual understanding, science practices and problem-solving to become college, career, and life ready.
