    Community resources are available to support families outside of the academic day. No one support fits all individuals. For assistance, support staff at individual schools are equipped to provide guidance and additional referrals.


    First Call for Help, 211 Broward – “Help is Just a Phone Call Away!” A 24-hour, free, confidential telephone Helpline for crisis/suicide counseling, empathetic listening, and community information and referrals for health and human services resources in Broward County. Just Dial 2-1-1 or (954) 537-0211 or access the directory online.

    One Community Partnership 2, (OCP3) - Aims to help Broward transition-age youth become successful adults. OCP2 focuses on youth and emerging adults ages 14 to 21 that have behavioral health challenges, like emotional or mental health, and may also have substance use (drugs and alcohol), trauma, or abuse.

    The Children’s Services Council of Broward County – Provides leadership, advocacy, and resources necessary to enhance the lives of the children of Broward County and empower them to become responsible, productive adults. The organization funds close to a hundred programs that serve children and families, advocates for policies that protect the interests of future generations, and provides leadership that brings the child-serving community together. 954-377-1000

    Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida – Provides information and referral to the community; offers resources and education for the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of mental health and advocacy for and empowerment of people with behavioral illness. 954-746-2055

    Crisis Text Line - Text "FL" to 741741 - Crisis Text Line, a national non-profit organization that provides free mental health support from trained crisis counselors.
