Find Your Passion: choosing the right CTE pathway for you!

The National Career Clusters® Framework serves as an organizing tool for Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, curriculum design and instruction. These programs are organized into 17 different career clusters and are geared toward middle school, high school, and technical school students throughout the state.  With the help of partners in education, business, industry, and trade associations, each program includes the academic and technical skills required to be successful in today’s economy.

Broward County Public Schools offers many CTE pathways to serve our students. Open the Career Clusters below to explore the CTE Pathways available to BCPS students.  When you find a pathway you are interested in, click the pathway link to learn what BCPS schools offer this pathway and other details that can help you . . . Find Your Passion!

Find Your Path: Enrolling in your CTE pathway of choice

  • Now that you have identified the pathway(s) you are interested in, it’s time to find the location that works offers your pathway.  Look again at the link for your pathway.  You will be able to see which High Schools offer the pathway.  There are two ways to access a CTE pathway:

OPTION 1: If your selected pathway is offered at your assigned high school, you need to contact your school counselor and let them know that you would like to be enrolled in that pathway. If you are not sure of your assigned high school you can use the following link: https://www.browardschools.com/Page/57847

OPTION 2: If your selected pathway is NOT offered at your assigned high school, you need to apply for a REASSIGNMENT through the SCHOOL CHOICE process.  The link for the SCHOOL CHOICE  website is here: https://www.browardschools.com/schoolchoice
