    Pursuant to School Board Policy 1000, Rule Development and Rulemaking, notices for Rule Development (Rule Development Workshop) will be published online no less than fourteen (14) days before the Public Rule Development Workshop is to be conducted. In addition, the second notice (Proposed Rulemaking) follows the conduct of the Rule Development Workshop and precedes the meeting at which the School Board will give final approval of a new, revised, or repealed School Board Policy. This second notice will be published online no less than twenty-eight (28) days before the meeting at which the School Board will give its final approval of the new, revised, or repealed School Board Policy.

    Pursuant to Section 50.0311(6), Florida Statutes, The School Board hereby gives notice that Broward County property owners and residents may receive legally required advertisements and public notices from The School Board by first-class mail or e-mail upon registering their name and address or e-mail address with The School Board.  Broward County property owners and residents may register by contacting the Legislative Affairs Department:
