  • Top High Schools: Ten BCPS High Schools ranked in the top 10% of high schools in the nation by US News and World Report for 2022.  

    Broward Technical Colleges: Students at our Technical Colleges - Atlantic, McFatter, and Sheridan - earned more than 6,000 industry certifications in 2022 leading the state of Florida in total certifications earned for a sixth consecutive year. 

    Cambridge International: BCPS name District of the Year by Cambridge International twice in four years (2017/18 and 2020/21) for high academic achievements among students in Cambridge programs.

    Athletics: 74 programs offered at middle and high schools

    #BrowardCODES: First district to partner with national Code.org initiative
     
    Chess: Largest school district to offer scholastic chess to all second grade students; all K – 12 students have access to Chess4Life, an interactive online chess platform
     
    Computer Science: Courses, curriculum and activities at every school
     
    CTACE: BCPS offers over 75 different Career Technical Education pathways at high schools, middle schools, technical colleges, and alternative education centers. The programs prepare students for high-wage careers.
