Broward Technical Colleges: For the 2025/26 school year, Atlantic, McFatter and Sheridan Technical Colleges tied for No. 1 statewide for the highest number of industry certifications earned. This marks the 10th consecutive year BCPS has achieved this distinction.

Broward Virtual School: Ranked No. 2 among Florida's Best Public Online High Schools by Niche.

Cambridge International: BCPS was named District of the Year by Cambridge International three times (2017/18, 2020/21, and 2025/26) for high academic achievement among students in Cambridge programs.
 
Chess: Largest school district to offer scholastic chess to all second grade students; all K – 12 students have access to Chess4Life, an interactive online chess platform
 
Computer Science: Courses, curriculum and activities at every school, with AI education integrated in academic and STEM courses.
 
Career, Technical, and Adult Education (CTACE): BCPS provides 75+ Career Technical Education paths across high and middle schools, technical colleges, and alternative education centers, preparing students for high-paying jobs.
 
Debate: Largest in the nation, with more than 10,000 students actively competing
 
Dual Language: Helps students build biliteracy skills by learning, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English and a target language. The program is offered at 32 schools.
