    Specific Objectives

    This online activity will provide teachers with in-depth information, activities and strategies to:

    • Set up a Pre-K classroom
    • Learn about the pivotal role of families in Pre-K
    • Prepare for Home/Family Visits
    • Plan for learning before, during, and after school
    • Guide children's behavior through the establishment of rules, expectations, and redirection to achieve a positive environment
    • Connect with children to increase social and emotional development
    • Set up instructional interactions to engage children
    • Learn about the ongoing assessment instructional cycle to ensure children are learning and growing continuously
    • Implement strategies that will facilitate individualization/differentiation of instruction in the classroom.
