The goal of these Standards is to ensure district wide uniformity, establish a level of construction quality, and provide safe and functional environments conducive to learning. LEED for Schools criteria has been integrated into these Standards as a means of achieving environmentally sustainable sites and buildings and meaningful environmental and health benefits for the students, teachers, and staff. They are intended to provide principles consistent with community values, ease of maintenance, and lower facility life cycle costs. These Standards are periodically reviewed and updated by district staff to address the inclusion of new products, construction methods, applicable building codes and reference standards.

Download and Use:
Project Consultants shall use the Design and Material Standards as master guide documents for their Construction Specifications.  Project Consultants shall amend the D&MS as necessary to be project specific.
