Immigrant Support Plan
-
Broward County Public Schools, the sixth largest school district in the nation, includes a diverse group of students. We are proud to recognize and respect their varying backgrounds and cultures as part of our unique school system. Our District values include the tenets that all students learn when their individual needs are met, that the diversity of our community is appreciated and embraced, and the assurance of equitable education and resources.
Today, all students have the constitutional right of equal access to a free education, regardless of their immigration status or their families’ status. In alignment with the National Education Association, BCPS will enroll student immigrants without discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin.
Ensuring our students’ safety and security remains our highest priority. We Are Broward Support Plan Canvas Course
