Supplemental Arts and Sciences
-
The Supplemental Arts and Sciences Program (SASP) is designed to assist schools in promoting learning outside the classroom through field trips. All elementary, middle schools and alternative/exceptional centers receive a categorical allocation in their budget and are provided flexibility to spend their allocation at one or more of the approved SASP institutions. This categorical allocation may be used on admission and/or transportaiton costs associated with the field trip. Field trips also include in-school residency programs. Each cultural organization is required to align their programs with district curriculum frameworks.
Please contact the listed cultural institutions directly for reservations and additional information regarding exhibits.
