The High School Exceptional Student Learning Support Team is dedicated to helping students and families transition from elementary to secondary learning. Our team is made up of certified ESE teachers and service providers who have the title of program specialist in their areas and work collaboratively to ensure learning for all students, across all platforms. The High School ESLS Team visits schools on a rotating schedule to provide support to ESE Specialist, Support Facilitators, teachers of SVE, and teachers of general education.

Extended School Year
The Extended School Year (ESY) Program provided services to over 6,000 students during the summer of 2021. In order for a student to attend ESY, they must be made eligible by the IEP committee at their school, based on data collected by the school and individual needs. A student's ESY program is individualized and based on the amount of documented ESE services, reflected on their IEP, that they receive during the traditional school year.
