Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, February
-
(Download Adobe Acrobat Reader to view or print PDF)
Every February, BCPS recognizes and participates in the observance of the National Teen Dating Violence (TDV) Prevention and Awareness Month. This observance is a national effort to raise awareness and promote the prevention of teen dating violence. Unfortunately, dating violence is more common and starts at a much younger age than expected. We need your help in spreading awareness about dating abuse and in letting our students know they deserve safe and healthy relationships. Incorporate TDV Month into your school’s year-round violence prevention efforts by celebrating all month, focusing on a single week like Respect Week from February 10-14th, 2025, or having one schoolwide TDV event. To learn more, view the School Board of Broward County Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month Resolution.
