Substance Use and Abuse Prevention Education Toolkit
-
BCPS is committed to preparing students to be emotionally resilient and academically prepared for success in a global community. Providing prevention education on substance use and abuse promotes the academic success, health, and well-being of our students. Use this BCPS Substance Use and Abuse Prevention Education Toolkit's lessons to help prevent the use and abuse of alcohol, nicotine, and drugs.
The lessons advance each year through developmentally appropriate instruction and skill building and can be used to supplement the lessons required in the State Board of Education state statute Rule 6A-1.094123 (Rulemaking Authority 1001.02(2)(n), 1003.42(2) F.S. More information about these mandates can be found on the FL DOE website.
